During autumn and winter, the Highlands of Scotland is an ideal place for a visit. In the autumn you can enjoy the change of the season in the countryside, all the trees are changing color, you can see beautiful yellows, browns and purples.

In winter you can enjoy the beautiful unspoiled snow in the fields and the hills.

A trip through the countryside this time of the year is a real feast. And when you're getting cold, a visit to one of the country pubs with open log fires and a choice of whisky, will warm you up.
